Oyakhilome was born in Nigeria on 7th December 1963, the eldest of three siblings, brother Ken Oyakhilome (now a reverend) and sister Kathy Oyakhilome-Woghiren. Their father, Elder TE Oyakhilome, was a respected figure in the community and well-known for his dedication to the church.
