    Katlego Maboe crowned the most stylish male celebrity in SA at the 2014 YOU SPECTACULAR AWARDS, Katlego Maboe is the host of South Africa’s “Feel Good Breakfast Show” – Expresso that is broadcast of the country’s SABC on weekdays from 6AM – 8:30AM.

    The show, which was nominated for a 2014 SAFTA award for best variety show, has been on air since October of 2010 and continues to grow daily, reaching audiences all across the country and parts of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland. 2014 has been a year of numerous milestones as Katlego hosted the annual ATKV MEDIAVEERTJIES and the HUISGENOOT TEMPO TOEKENINGS.

    He rushed through the doors, a little sweaty and flustered, yet still very energetic. Uber was nowhere to be found, so Katlego decided to put wheels to his feet and ran to be on time for our meeting. I gave him a moment to catch his breath. His head was still in running mode – moving from the one commitment to the other. After lecturing him on the importance of rest and not working too hard, albeit one of his qualities that inom admire, I finally gave him the space to tell his story.

    The brief hour I spent with Katlego was filled with precious gems. When I asked him to share his story, he painted an honest and truthful canvas of his life.     Cape Town based Katlego was awarded the title of ‘Presenter of the Year’ at the 2015 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).This TV presenter, MC, singer, model and actor is not only one of the hosts of the SABC3 morning show ‘Expresso’ but also the affable anchor of the second season of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’(2014 and 2015).

    Speaking fluent Afrikaans, English and Setswana, and all with a delightfully sharp sense of humour, Katlego effortlessly maneuvers around any given situation and transcends any demographic border.
