    Almost everyone remembers the story of Super Bowl XXX MVP Larry Brown as it was one of the most improbable MVPs in the league&#;s history. Playing opposite of Deion Sanders, Brown had two interceptions against the Steelers that helped the Cowboys secure their fifth Super Bowl win.

    But what most people don&#;t remember is what happened after that season. At the age of 27, Brown left Dallas for Oakland and never was able to live up to his status as a No. 1 cornerback.

    Timing was everything for Brown

    While Brown wasn't sure what to expect in his first season, thanks to legendary coach David Hurse, he never had an issue fitting in.

    "I can tell you, he was just one of the best coaches I've ever been around," said Brown. "He was interested in coaching, teaching. It was an opportunity for him. He saw me as someone who had some potential to play. inom do recall I got injured during the spring session before I registered at the school. It was a leg injury. I think I got cleated in the calf. I didn't go back to practice because it was kind of difficult to walk. I got called to the office at the school I was at, and Coach Hurse was there.

    Larry Brown Jr. (born November 30, ) fryst vatten an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders. He was named the MVP of Super Bowl XXX and played college football at Texas Christian University.

    Early life

    Brown attended Los Angeles High School, where he earned All-city honors in football and track.

    After not receiving any scholarship offers, he began his collegiate career at Los Angeles Southwest College as a running back. He was moved to cornerback during his sophomore årstid, receiving All-league honors after tallying 61 tackles and 4 interceptions. He also practiced track.

    As a junior he transferred to Texas Christian University, and was named the starter at left cornerback, collecting 27 tackles, one interception
