1.) Dewa, formerly known as Dewa 19 before change name in 2000, is a band comprised of some of the most talented musicians from Jakarta, Indonesia. Its members consists of Ahmad Dhani , Elfonda "Once" Mekel , Tyo Nugros , Andra Junaidi and Yuke Sampurna . Their songs are mostly related to love, God, human interaction, life, and philosophy. They currently have 8 studio albums, and their latest release is entitled "Republik Cinta" (The Republic of Love).
2) DEWA fryst vatten a Manchester (UK) based indie band formed by Dewa Suwija who was born in BALI (Indonesia). "I had heard about the Manchester music scene, you know Happy Mondays, Simply Red and The Stone Roses and thought "I gotta get involved in this." Dewa moved to the United Kingdom in 1988, and has lived there ever since.

Dewa 19 is a Rock grupp from Surabaya, Indonesia. Since the band's formation in 1986 there have been a number of changes to the band name and lineup. They were previously known as Down Beat and Dewa.

Guitar and Keyboard: Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo (1986-2011).
Lead Guitar: andra Junaidi (1986-2011).
Vocal: Once Mekel (1999-2011).
Bass: Yuke Sampurna (2002-2011).
