I was initially watching Pinocchio (kdrama) but saw an advertisement for Cantabile Tomorrow and became curious because Joo Won is the lead. The results surprised even me.

The premise of the plot revolves around a prestigious music school in South Korea. Even though the school is hard to get into, the students are divided into two sides; ‘professionals’ and … the 'leftovers’.
The 'professionals’ are students that can play really well, have social status, and have a bright future ahead of them in music. While the 'leftovers’ are students that can’t make it into the advanced classes and are taught by professor Ahn Gun-sung (Namgung Yeon), a professor that is seen as a joke by others because of his relaxed teaching ways.
