Master of the Game is a novel by Sidney Sheldon, first published in hardback format in 1982.[1] Spanning four generations in the lives of the fictional McGregor/Blackwell family, the critically acclaimed novel spent four weeks at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list,[2] and was later adapted into a 1984 television miniseries.[3]
On August 4, 2009 (two years after Sheldon's death), William Morrow and Company released a sequel, Sidney Sheldon's Mistress of the Game, written by Tilly Bagshawe.

It is based on Agatha Christie's novel They Do It with Mirrors, using the novel's American title. The novel has been dramatized on two separated series, Miss Marple and Agatha Christie's Marple. They used the novel's original title.
Synopsis
[edit]Miss Marple reunites with her friend Carrie Louise Serrocold at her country mansion. Christian Gulbranson, Marple's lawyer, persuades her to visit the estate of his stepmother, Carrie Louise. Her devoted husband Lewis has turned the manor house Stonygates into a halfway house for criminals. He confides to Marple and suspects someone poisoning Carrie with arsenic. After Christian dies, a killer is at large in a house full of suspects.

Lucy & Desi: Before the Laughter is a 1991 television movie from CBS about the lives of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. The movie begins when the two actors met in the 1940s and ends with their divorce in 1960. The movie covers how their careers developed, their often rocky marriage, and how they came to develop the I Love Lucy show. It recreates a number of scenes from classic I Love Lucy episodes, including "Lucy Thinks Ricky Is Trying to Murder Her" and "Lucy Does a TV Commercial".[1][2] The television movie was directed by Charles Jarrott and written by William Luce, based on a teleplay by Luce and Cynthia A.
